Sheriff’s Workplace seeks, suggestions, and extra data after the arrest of man impersonating police on Mt. Hood

The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Workplace is asking the general public for extra suggestions and data after arresting a person on Feb. 4 for impersonating a police officer within the Mt. Hood space.
Timothy Jacob Benz, age 41, of Rhododendron, is presently being held with out bail in Clackamas County Jail on fees together with Impersonating a Police Officer, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of a Restricted Weapon. His full reserving data is right here.
Sheriff’s Workplace deputies arrested Benz on Saturday, Feb. 4 following a number of stories from callers to Clackamas 911 (C-COM), Oregon State Police, and different sources that he had been impersonating a police officer in a car.
Investigators realized Benz was noticed “patrolling” the Mt. Hood Meadows car parking zone in a silver Dodge Charger and interesting in different uncommon habits. Benz was reportedly carrying black physique armor whereas driving a car that appeared like an unmarked police automobile, and claimed to be a member of the Oregon State Police when contacted by Mt.
