Montreal police are asking for the general public’s assist in reference to a deadly hit and run within the Ville-Marie borough late final week.

A skateboarder was struck by a driver in a car round 6:30 p.m. on the intersection of De Lorimier Avenue and Ste-Catherine Road.
The sufferer, a 21-year-old man, was rushed to hospital. He died from his accidents the next day.

Police say the sufferer was hit by a black Jeep Cherokee and the motive force allegedly fled the scene. The car was later discovered deserted on Sicard Road within the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough.
